Bill is the Chief Investment Officer of PureDC and one of the leading experts in data centre finance and investing globally.  He was previously a Managing Director and the Global Head of Data Centre Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs based in New York before joining Pure in 2020.  He has been working in the real assets finance sector for 20 years with significant experience in esoteric and operationally intensive real estate businesses.

Bill has advised on over $50 billion of strategic data centre transactions spanning six continents.  He helped to drive awareness of data centres among a broad range of institutional investors and was on the forefront of how to value hyperscale data centre platforms and popularized new financing concepts.

Bill is based in London and leads Pure’s strategy, investment, and capital markets efforts.  He graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with High Honors and has a BA in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis.
