Natalia Akst

Managing Director, Real Assets, Macquarie Asset Management

Natalia is a Managing Director for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Real Assets, having joined in 2010, and has had a number of merger and acquisition and asset management responsibilities across a range of infrastructure subsectors.

Natalia looks after MAM Real Assets’ European activities in data center investments and in 2022 she led a successful investment into VIRTUS, one of the leading wholesale data center businesses in Europe, and joined the board. In the digital sector she also worked on INEA, Airwave and TDC, among others.

In the other infrastructure subsectors, such as energy and utilities, Natalia has led asset management, acquisitions, sell-downs, refinancings, major expansion projects, regulatory resets and other asset management milestones across the UK, Italy, DACH and Poland.

Natalia holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of London and a Master of Financial Economics degree from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
