Martin Kohoutek

General Secretary, German Datacenter Association

Martin Kohoutek joined the German Datacenter Association (GDA) as General Secretary in January 2024.

He studied Political Science (Diploma) and Business Law (LL.M.) in Germany and China. After completing his studies, he initially worked for the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Thailand before joining the Chamber of Industry and Commerce East Brandenburg, Germany, in 2015, where he worked for several years as Chief of Staff. At the beginning of 2022, he took over as Deputy Executive Director of the German Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in Indonesia, where he also headed the AHK's legal department.

Now, Martin is supporting the GDA as an expert in membership organisations and political advocacy. His mission is to bring companies and other stakeholders together to strengthen a united voice of the industry.
