Dr. Mubarik Chowdhry

Director & Head of Global Innovation Hub, Heidelberg Materials

Mubarik has a PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College London and has worked for BASF for 23 years covering a broad range of markets from construction, coatings, agrochemicals, areospace, automotive and personal care in Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Since October 2023, he has joined Heidelberg Materials to lead the Global Innovation Hub team and reporting to the Managing Board's CSO.

The Global Innovation Hub is responsible for the global roll-out of evoZero®, the world's first carbon captured net-zero cement at scale innovated by Heidelberg Materials.

evoZero® is a game-changing solution that can significantly reduce the embodied carbon emissions of concrete in the construction of new data centers.
