Brian Rhoney

Director, Data Center/AI Market Development, Corning

With over 21 years of experience at Corning, Brian Rhoney has held positions in product

development, systems engineering and product line management. Currently, he is the

Director of Data Center Market Development where his team works closely with Data

Center end users to develop new solutions to solve customers’ deployment challenges.

Brian has 13 granted patents related to fiber optic cabling and was named Corning’s “Dr.

Peter Bark Inventor of the Year” in 2006. Brian is a graduated of North Carolina State

University with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He also received an

MBA from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
