"Some customers may be experiencing disruption to their service. Our engineers are aware of this issue and working on a solution as their top priority," the company said in a status update. "We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience."

The London Internet provider has more than 300,000 customers, while its network has reached more than 1.3 million premises.

Community Fibre experienced a lengthy outage on 17 February.

"I write to apologise and say sorry if you suffered any disruption to your Broadband service yesterday afternoon when we had a network outage," CEO Graeme Oxby said in a letter to customers at the time.

"I fully appreciate how essential a reliable connection is for everyone and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this outage may have caused."

As of 4.25pm GMT, services appear to be back up and running.

We will update this story as we learn more.

Update: Community's CEO Oxby issued a second apology in the wake of the 30-minute outage.

“Unfortunately, I am having to apologize again as we had a network outage for 30 minutes this afternoon. Most customers should have had service restored immediately and we will keep working to get everyone restored.

"Thank you so much and sorry for any inconvenience.”
