The rebrand comes amidst a bid to prioritize investment across more geographies through subsea, Edge data centers, and cable landing stations.

The company provides end-to-end high-speed digital connectivity solutions, including colocation capacity, dark fiber, and Layer 2 and 3 services for hyperscalers, telcos, OTT content providers, and enterprises across its interconnected platform of seven subsea and six terrestrial cable systems.

Its network spans more than 180 countries across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the USA.

“FLAG represents our renewed commitment to global connectivity,” said Carl Grivner, CEO of FLAG. “Working closely with our clients, we are constantly upgrading and expanding our network to stay at the forefront of technological developments and meeting evolving market demands. This ensures our clients receive the most advanced connectivity solutions, enabling them to scale, secure, and optimize their data in an increasingly interconnected world.”

FLAG now shares its name with several of its subsea cables, including the FLAG Europe-Asia, FLAG-Atlantic, and FLAG North Asia Loop cables.
