German cooling-equipment vendor Stulz will sell, install and support data enter infrastructure management (DCIM) solutions by SynapSense in Australia and New Zealand through its Australian subsidiary, the companies announced earlier this week.
Stulz will sell SynapSense either integrated with its cooling systems for data centers or as a stand-alone DCIM solution.
SynapSense president and CEO Pater Van Deventer said this was a good way to take the product to the two growing markets.
“Through its existing network of offices, Stulz will help us accelerate the deployment of our solution for our global colocation, financial services and enterprise customers' data centers in the region and provide an excellent platform to bring our technology to the local Australian and New Zealand markets,” Deventer said.
SynapSense takes its product to market in other markets in the Asia-Pacific region directly. In October 2011, the company announced opening of an office in Singapore, dedicated to targeting markets in the region.
The platform uses a network of wireless sensors to monitor and adjust environmental conditions on the data center floor continuously in real time.
