ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) Philippines announced it has topped out the first facility of its Fairview Campus in Manila.
Located in Quezon City, plans for the campus were first announced in May last year, alongside the groundbreaking of the first building.
The first building is set to deliver 12MW of capacity.
Once complete, the campus will comprise more than 83,000 sqm (893,400 sq ft) across four buildings and offer 124MW of IT capacity.
“This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to our promise and highlights our dedication to our valued customers, partners, and stakeholders,” said Carlo Malana, president and CEO of STT GDC Philippines. “With STT Fairview 1 nearing completion, we are eager to provide our customers with world-class, AI-ready data center solutions that set a new standard in connectivity and innovation.”
STT GDC Philippines is a joint venture between Globe, the Ayala Corporation, and Singaporean data center operator ST Telemedia Global Data Centres that was formed in 2022. The company currently has three data centers in the capital city Manila, and one each in Cavite and Davao that were carved out of Globe.
The company also has another facility under construction in Cavite, which began construction in November last year. Completion of the 6MW facility is scheduled for mid-2025.
