At full build-out, the 200MW campus will support up to five buildings and up to 1.5 million square feet (139,355 sqm) of data center space, as well as an on-site substation.

Construction of the first 300,000-square-foot (27,870 sqm), 40MW building is underway and is scheduled for occupancy in Q2 2025.

Located at 11203 W Military Drive, this is Stream’s third data center campus in the San Antonio region.

The company said the San Antonio III campus will feature a proprietary design with closed-loop chillers and be able to support a transition to Direct Liquid Cooling.

“We are thrilled to announce the construction of our latest hyperscale data center in San Antonio,” said Paul Moser, Stream’s co-managing partner. “We are a Texas-based company with a 25-year history of serving customers in the state’s major data center markets.”

The company’s first San Antonio data center was built in 2008. The 30MW, 150,000 sq ft (13,935 sqm) facility was sold to a Fortune 10 company in 2011. Located at 9550 Westover Hills Blvd, Stream’s San Antonio II data center spans 30,000 sq ft (2,790 sqm) across three data halls; it launched last year.

Founded in 1999, Stream is part of Stream Realty Partners.
