Elon Musk's Starlink is back online following an outage that impacted SpaceX's satellite Internet service yesterday evening.

The incident appeared to last for around an hour, before Starlink stated on X, formerly Twitter, that "the network issue has been fully resolved."

More than 41,000 users reported issues with Starlink on the outage tracking website Downdetector.

The cause has not yet been identified, and Musk has yet to personally comment on it.

Starlink suffered a similar hour-long outage back in September.

Before this in April 2023, the company was hit by a global multi-hour outage, which it blamed on expired security certificates at its ground stations.

Starlink, which is a subsidiary of SpaceX, began launching its Starlink satellites in 2019. It provides coverage to more than 70 countries and owns around 60 percent of the roughly 7,500 satellites orbiting Earth.
