Sebrae has launched two data center units in Brasília, Brazil.

The non-profit organization specializes in promoting and supporting small businesses across Brazil.

The two data centers, deployed by Trusted Data, are located inside its Sebrae Nacional and Sebrae Distrito Federal units.

Specifications and details of the units have not been shared.

The company said its new facilities will provide greater agility, scalability, and security in its operations, aligning with the growing needs for innovation and digitalization.

The contract between Sebrae and Trusted Data is based on an operation expenses model, meaning that Sebrae will pay monthly for the use of resources as a service, instead of a one-time initial investment in capital.

“The partnership with Trusted Data in the implementation of these new data centers marks an important advance in Sebrae’s ability to offer modern and efficient technological solutions. The OPEX-based contract model is an innovation applied in our institution and demonstrates our commitment to always seeking the best practices to meet the needs of Sebrae and Micro and Small Businesses,” said Diego Almeida, IT Manager at Sebrae Nacional.

In September 2022, Zeittec built a 35 sqm (376 sq ft) data center for Sebrae.

Brazil-based Trusted Data specializes in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure around Brazil. Its customers include Scala, Ascenty, and Taesa.
