GPUaaS provider Scan Computers has selected Peak:AIO's storage servers for its Nvidia DGX Blackwell B200 cluster.
The cluster represents a multi-million-dollar investment in AI infrastructure in Europe, the companies said.
Peak:AIO's storage servers will offer Scan customers with Peak's GPUDirect NVMe-oF, which is designed for seamless data movement between storage and GPU memory, the GPUDirect RDMA NFL, which provides scalable filed-based solutions for larger AI customers, and Next-Gen S3 Storage.
“Scan’s latest GPUaaS expansion with Nvidia DGX Blackwell B200 is a testament to its leadership in AI infrastructure,” said Mark Klarzynski, chief strategy officer and co-founder of Peak:AIO. “By selecting Peak:AIO’s AI data servers, Scan is ensuring that its customers experience the highest levels of performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, delivering real-world benefits from this substantial investment.”
“It is not an easy decision to forgo the potential business benefits of mainstream enterprise storage,” continued Klarzynski. “But GPUs represent such a fundamental shift in computing that we believe it is essential to fully commit to this evolved AI market rather than rebranding legacy storage. AI is a new frontier; it demands new storage and new thinking, not just new marketing.”
The two companies have worked together for more than three years.
“Scan and its ecosystem of AI specialists have spent years building solutions that maximize the potential of cutting-edge hardware. It’s no longer just about linking fast GPUs with high-speed storage—it takes real expertise to craft a system where every element works in harmony to deliver the results customers expect,” said Elan Raja, CEO of Scan Computers.
Scan Computers was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Lancashire, UK. The company claimed in a January 2025 LinkedIn post that it had deployed the first Nvidia DGX B200 in Europe.
"This cutting-edge technology is set to revolutionise AI and machine learning capabilities," the company said. "We've consistently been at the forefront of innovation, having successfully deployed the previous generations of Nvidia AI hardware, including the DGX A100, DGX H100, and DGX H200. Our commitment to providing the best in AI infrastructure remains unwavering."
Where the cluster is being housed, has not been shared. DCD has contacted the companies for more information about the cluster, and Scan Computers' data center footprint.
