Sarthak Hooda, founder and CEO at Neon Cloud, said the company was "thrilled" to enter the Indian market. "With the accelerating digital transformation in the country, businesses need powerful, high-value cloud solutions to scale without limitations," Hooda said.

"Our mission is to empower businesses with the tools they need to innovate and grow effortlessly. The launch in India marks a significant step towards making world-class cloud infrastructure more accessible and efficient."

Neon Cloud gives companies complete control over their infrastructure, which the company says allows them to "scale seamlessly" without being locked into "proprietary ecosystems or hidden costs."

Neon Cloud was founded in 2024 by Hooda and is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. The launch of its cloud offering in India is the commencement of the company's offerings. Its LinkedIn page does not yet list a website. Hooda is also listed as a director at Progression, Neon Cloud's parent company which offers managed services, cloud, and cybersecurity services.

His LinkedIn describes Neon Cloud as "building an intuitive, affordable, and lock-in-free cloud platform to empower startups and SMBs with enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Expanding into AI to support AI/ML workloads with Cloud GPUs."

The company has not stated which data center it is hosting Neon Cloud in, but describes it as "state-of-the-art," and is likely the Progression Infonet data center located at 55 Independent Electronic Modules, Electronic City, Sector 18, 122015, in Gurgaon, the same address listed for Neon Cloud on LinkedIn.

Progression's website lists data centers also in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Bangalore.
