Former T-Mobile US CEO Mike Sievert has left the building after stepping down from his vice chairman position at the telecom giant.
The news was revealed by an SEC Form filed today (October 28) by T-Mobile US, which stated Mike Sievert will resign from its Board of Directors and Transaction Committee effective November 1, 2026. He will also cease serving as vice chair of the board and the company.
Sievert stepped down from his role as T-Mobile US CEO almost a year ago, yielding the position to incumbent Srini Gopalan. T-Mobile's filing from that period disclosed Sievert's subsequent position as vice chairman would terminate November 1, with the possibility of extension.
“Mr. Sievert’s resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices,” T-Mobile added in today's filing.
Upon leaving his CEO position in September, Sievert wrote on LinkedIn that he would “continue to serve this place I love … It’s been the honor of a lifetime to lead this team. And the best is truly yet to come. ”
Neither Sievert nor T-Mobile US has yet to publicly comment on today’s departure, while Sievert's next step remains unclear.
