A former data center in Corbin, Kentucky is up for sale.
Located at 2400 S Main Street, the facility is listed for $1.1 million via LoopNet.
According to the LoopNet listing, the facility spans 9,945 sq ft (924 sqm) and has an additional 4,681 sq ft (435 sqm) of "warehouse" space.
Previously used by a "local bank" as a data center, the property features the "modern technology and infrastructure to support business operations," with the listing noting it would be suitable for a similar operation.
Alternative uses suggested include office space, tech operations, education center, logistics, or retail.
Built in 2000, the property comes with a large backup generator to ensure "continuity of operations during outages."
Based on the images, the "local bank" previously using the facility is likely BSC Incorporated - Bank Systems Consulting - a company founded in 1988 that provides bank data, items, and image processing services. BSC's website is no longer available.
Corbin is located in the south-eastern portion of Kentucky, south of Lexington. Kentucky does not have a particularly large data center market, though much of it is centered around Louisville on the border of Indiana. In January 2025, PowerHouse announced plans to build a 400MW data center campus in Louisville.
Kentucky is encouraging data center development in the state, having recently approved a 50-year tax-exempt program for data center projects in Jefferson County.
