Flexential has broken ground on its fifth Denver data center in the southern district of Parker.
Plans for the facility were first shared in May this year.
Set on a 17-acre site, the 249,000 (23,130 sqm) facility will offer 22.5MW of capacity, provided by Core Electric.
In a recent LinkedIn post, the company said: “This expansion is a key part of our national growth strategy, reinforcing our commitment to delivering scalable, energy-efficient infrastructure solutions for businesses in Denver and across the country.”
Flexential added the facility will enhance its FlexAnywhere platform to support demanding IT workloads.
The company will begin pre-leasing the facility from now for a 2026 go-live date.
Flexential currently operates four data centers in Denver - in downtown, Aurora, Centennial, and Englewood - totaling 510,000 sq ft (47,380 sqm) and around 27MW.
Data center operators including CoreSite, Expedient, DataBank, QTS, Iron Mountain, H5, EdgeConneX, and IPI-owned RadiusDC are all present around Denver.
