A large data center campus is being proposed outside Atlanta, Georgia.

East Village Dothan, LLC., this week filed a Development of Regional Impact application with the Georgia Department of State Affairs for a data center campus simply known as the Hickman Property.

The project aims to rezone some 700 acres in Douglas County (around 35 is within Villa Rica's city limits) from Residential-Agricultural and Special Use Permit. Villa Rica is located some 30 miles west of Atlanta.

The project would see the development of 11 data center buildings totaling 6.2 million sq ft (576,000 sqm), as well as four warehouses totaling 66,000 sq ft (6,131 sqm.)

James F. Hickman is listed as the project’s contact. A Georgia-based James Hickman is listed on LinkedIn as president of Hickman Land Group.

WTP Investments LLC, Danielle’s Vintage Memories Inc., and Long Valley Inc. are listed as the site’s property owners.
