Cryptomining firm Bit Digital has rebranded its HPC and colo business, and signed another colo customer.

Now known as WhiteFiber, the business unit encompasses the company’s GPU cloud operators and its HPC data center business, formerly Enovum Data Centers. The company’s crypto businesses will continue to operate under the Bit Digital brand.

Bit Digital rebrands its Enovum business under the WhiteFiber name – Bit Digital

Sam Tabar, CEO of Bit Digital, said the move is "an important step in establishing a distinct identity for this transformative venture."

He said: "By combining data center colocation with GPU cloud services, we provide the high-performance infrastructure required for the most demanding AI workloads.”

Tabar said WhiteFiber is currently servicing more than 20 customers.

A monthly update from the company said HPC data center colocation revenue was approximately CA$757,800 (US$522,900) in January 2025. The company had 268 servers totaling 2,144 GPUs, creating $4.4 million in GPU cloud revenue during January 2025.

This week also saw Bit Digital announce a new colo customer deal for WhiteFiber, which will provide the unnamed client with 5MW of built-to-suit data center infrastructure for a period of five years.

The contract – set to commence in mid-2025 – will be fulfilled at a data center within Enovum’s proprietary development pipeline, with the location to be announced at a later date.

Last month, Bit Digital expanded an existing customer’s contract to add 464 Nvidia B200 GPUs in 58 Nvidia B200 servers to be deployed in Iceland. This new agreement replaces a prior agreement to provide the customer with an incremental 2,048 H100 GPUs. The contract represents approximately $15 million of annualized revenue for Bit Digital.

Bit Digital acquired Enovum, a Canadian data center operator, for CA$62.8 million (US$46m) in November 2024. Launched in 2020, Enovum operates a 70,000 sq ft (6,500 sqm), 4MW facility in Montreal, which is leased through 2036 with two five-year extension options. It is fully leased to more than a dozen customers. The site can reportedly expand up to 187,500 sq ft (17,400 sqm) and 24MW.

At the time of the acquisition, Bit Digital said Enovum also had a development pipeline of 288MW, including 93MW currently under LOI with respective landlords. Further details are yet to be shared.

Bit Digital has Bitcoin mining operations located in the US (New York, Kentucky, and Texas), Canada, and Iceland (x2).
