AI cloud provider Boost Run has secured a $525.6 million cloud contract with Cohere.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cohere will lease access to Boost Run's dedicated GPU cloud computing infrastructure and related services, with the term for each rack provided set to run for approximately five years.
A portion of the contract value is prepayable.
Cohere is expected to begin "accepting" the infrastructure in the second quarter of 2027, at which point the term of the agreement will start. If Boost Run has not provided a minimum amount of infrastructure by July 15, 2027, Cohere can terminate the agreement and receive a refund of all amounts prepaid.
Details about which data centers the agreement will apply to have not been shared.
Boost Run was founded in 2024. As per an SEC filing, the company "owns and operates bare-metal GPU servers within top-tier data centers used to run AI and HPC workloads." As of the end of 2025, it was operating out of four TierPoint data centers in the US, located in Seattle, Washington; Durham, North Carolina; Dallas, Texas; and Richardson, Texas.
The company said at the time that it was aiming to add 16MW to its footprint through its partnership with TierPoint, planning expansions in Charlotte, North Carolina; St. Louis, Missouri; and Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.
In the company's most recent 10Q filing, Boost Run stated that in the six months ending June 30, 2026, it had entered into four colocation leases. Two were entered into during Q1, and are set to run for three and seven years, respectively. The other two were entered into in Q2, and both run for three years. It does not state if the leases are exclusively with TierPoint. The company now also lists data center locations in Rock Island, Illinois; Charlotte, North Carolina; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Marietta, Georgia.
During the most recent quarter, total colocation lease cost was $10.56 million, a Year-on-Year increase of 576 percent. The company saw revenues of $31.14 million for the quarter, up from $8.423m the year prior, and had an operating loss of $12.9 million.
Cohere is a Canadian AI startup. The company has previously signed a $220 million cloud agreement with Buzz HPC for capacity at its Merritt, British Columbia, data center. The company is a known user of AMD GPUs, having signed an agreement to use the chip designer's Instinct GPUs in September 2025.
