Eatonton 379, LLC this week filed a Development of Regional Impact application with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for the Eatonton 379 data center project.

The company aims to develop up to 11 data center buildings totaling 3.5 million sq ft (325,160 sqm) and up to 520MW.

The 542-acre site, located along Glenwood Springs Road outside Eatonton in Putnam County, is currently greenfield land close to a substation.

The site could go live in 2031, according to the filing.

The application notes the development will have substations, and the developer intends to work with the City of Eatonton to address potential on-site generation needs.

The company behind Eatonton LLC is unclear. The site is owned by Dial Farm Holdings LLC; HPS Real Estate, LLC; David L. Kuhns, Jr.; and Tarita S. Kuns.

Eatonton is located some 74 miles (199km) southeast of Atlanta.
