Ingeniero Superior en Telecomunicaciones e Ingeniero en Organización Industrial. Master en Mercados de Emisiones de Carbono por la EOI y Master en Gestión de Proyectos por la UEM, PGD por el Instituto de Empresa, DCPro Operations por Data Center Dynamics, CDCP y CDFOM por EPI, Certificado ITIL V4, Scrum Master y Green Belt en Six Sigma.

Inicia su carrera profesional en los Data Centers en el Departamento Comercial de Telvent lo que le permite conocer las necesidades de housing de las empresas, tanto nacionales como internacionales desarrollándose y liderando los departamentos de Eficiencia Energética, Sostenibilidad, Desarrollo de Producto, Consultoría y Explotación de los Data Centers de Madrid. Completa su desarrollo con el liderazgo en el Diseño, Construcción, Puesta en Marcha y Operación de Alcalá Data Center por Ferrovial Servicios para posteriormente expandir el servicio de Operación y Mantenimiento especializado a clientes en España, Portugal, Inglaterra, Australia.

Su know-how en las necesidades y requerimientos de los Data Centers se ve complementado por la formación continua en las normas, métricas, tendencias y certificaciones que acompañan al sector de las Tecnologías de la Información.

Actualmente coordina y desarrolla a nivel global los servicios y operaciones orientados a Data Centers.

Loren Long is an advisor, entrepreneur, and author with over 25 years of experience in technology, strategy, and sustainability. Currently, he is managing director with Clear Sustainability, a M&A advisory practice focused on operational, commercial, and sustainability due diligence. He also advises data center operators on sustainability, ESG, and regulatory issues. In 2012, he co-founded and developed one of the pioneering edge data center companies, DartPoints, that was acquired in 2020. Early in his career, he served in the US Army as airborne ranger infantry officer. Loren earned his BS in Physics and Nuclear Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and MSc in Environment and Sustainability from the University of London. He lives outside London with his wife and family.

Over the past 30 years of his career, Lex has built exceptionally strong credentials in the design of versatile, cost-effective and energy-efficient data center infrastructure. He has supervised the design and build process for more than 70 data centers and developed close to 600,000 m² of gross space with over 300,000 m² net space across Western Europe and Africa.

In his current role as Chief Datacenter Technology and Engineering Officer at Digital Realty, Lex has pioneered several new approaches to data center design and management, including the improvement of power ratio efficiency between server load and transformer load, and the industry’s first ever modular approach to data center architecture.

Lex is a Visiting Professor at the University of East London working on the data center challenges of Sustainability and Energy efficiency. Further, Lex is Board member of the Climate neutral datacenter Pact, Chair of the EUDCA Policy Committee where he engages with EU Policymakers, Board member of the EUDCA, Stakeholder at the EU JRC since the start in for the European Code of Conduct for datacenter efficiency and he is member of the iMasons Advisory Council where he helped developing the Climate Accord/ Carbon Tracker with Maturity model.

Lex received the Personal Judges Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Data Center industry in 2010 by Broadgroup, 2016 by DCD, and again 2021 by Data Centre Dynamics.

Iván Gimeno es el responsable de desarrollo de negocio y responsable técnico de las soluciones de Data Center de Rittal (filial de la empresa alemana Rittal GmbH) en el mercado español. Experiencia de 20 años en diferentes empresas de soluciones de infraestructuras TI, empezando en 1999 en Marconi Iberia en proyectos de despliegue de redes LMDS. Desde 2005 en Rittal como Product Manager de soluciones de Data Center.
En los últimos años, sus responsabilidades sobre este negocio, le han llevado a gestionar la introducción de las innovaciones de la multinacional Rittal en esta división en cinco áreas del Data Center: Racks, Climatización, Potencia, Seguridad física TI y Monitorización.
Además dirige proyectos de Data Center en clientes de diferentes sectores.

Santiago is a passionate technologist and Data Centers enthusiast with a drive to explore the new strategies for digitalization and their environment impact reduction. Pioneer in the implementation of the Business of Neutral Data Centers in Spain and Portugal, back in 2001 and for 16 years he was the Director of the main Data Center company in the Iberian Peninsula, Itconic (former Telvent).

Stoneshield Investment Fund appointed Santiago as CEO in April 2021. In October 2022, Stoneshield reached a sales agreement with Iron Mountain and its Data Centers Division for the acquisition of 100% of XDATA Properties where Santiago serves as Data Center Country Manager .

Santiago is member of The Green Grid and the European Code of Conduit, Promoter of the first TierIV Certification of a Neutral Data Center in Spain carried out by Uptime Institute, as well as the first M&O certification also by Uptime. Last but not least Santiago is a member of the Data Center Association in Spain (SpainDC).

Pioneros en la ingeniería especializada en centros de datos, actualmente desde Aeon Ingeniería diseñamos servicios novedosos y diferenciados que ayudan a las empresas a obtener la excelencia en la operación. Los últimos proyectos – Tier III y Tier IV & CEEDA - no solo centrados en las certificaciones de diseño y construcción, sino especialmente y como objetivo, la certificación en Sostenibilidad Operativa.

Ha participado en múltiples proyectos tecnológicos. Ha dirigido proyectos de construcción, remodelación de Centros de Proceso de Datos, para entidades financieras. Ha dirigido auditorías de Centros de Proceso de Datos, para la Administración Pública y grandes empresas. Posee grandes conocimiento en el ámbito de la refrigeración para CPD, donde se ha formado dentro y fuera de España. Ha desarrollado metodologías propias de medición y commissioning de sistemas medioambientales para CPD.

Actualmente, además de la labor docente en DCPro que realiza desde 2014, colabora en proyectos de investigación en refrigeración líquida a través de 2PIC Project, la iniciativa para el desarrollo de este tipo de sistemas innovadores.
