DCD>Workshop: Net Zero Innovation Hub for European Data Centers

The Net Zero Innovation Hub is a pan-European initiative which seeks to address key sectoral challenges through concrete innovation projects and establishing stronger links between operators, suppliers, and governments. The Hub's key goal is to support the execution of collaborative projects that accelerate the implementation and scaling of innovations to achieve Net Zero, and support data center growth at the same time.

The Hub is looking for innovations in the early commercialization phase, to evaluate potential projects, solutions, and business models on their “Net Zero Impact” at scale and acceleration capability towards Net Zero.

The Hub Projects aim to de-risk the scale-up of innovative solutions by removing barriers around: technology, market off-take, regulation and financing. The focus of the first projects are in 2 areas:

  • Carbon-free energy - specifically technologies delivering controllable 24/7 carbon-free power, alternatives to diesel back-up generators, grid-connected data centers & microgrids
  • Heat reuse

During this session, you will meet the team and the board behind the Net Zero Innovation Hub, find out more about the Hub's current and upcoming projects, and how to get involved. If you have an innovative net zero solution that you are looking to scale, this is the place for you.

This session is open to all attendees.
