Owners of Seattle's major data center and telecommunications hub Fisher Plaza are looking for a buyer of the property, which includes data center, office and retail space.
Fisher Communications, the company that owns the plaza, has hired Moelis &Company to market the property. Moelis senior VP Steve Moore told GlobeSt that the campus was recently appraised for US$142m.
Moore said there was substantial interest in the property from national office and data center buyers and from local real-estate firms. "This is a marquee building and is one of two leading data centers in the Seattle market," he told GlobeSt.
The campus, which measures more than 290,000 sq ft, consists of two buildings: Fisher Plaza East and Fisher Plaza West.
The data center space is in Fisher Plaza West, a six-story building that includes about 54,000 sq ft of data center space and about 30,000 sq ft of office space. The five-story Fisher Plaza East building contains Fisher headquarters and Komo TV, a Fisher-owned local affiliate of the national television network ABC.
Both buildings are 96% occupied.
